The GSRC Writing Accountability Groups are designed to support graduate students working on their theses, dissertations, major papers, or funding proposals, as well as those interested in developing a writing routine.
What can you expect from joining a Writing Accountability Group?
- Company of 3-5 other graduate students;
- Weekly 60-minute meetings;
- A supportive space to build a consistent writing routine.
Every meeting starts with a quick check-in to share what you’ve been working on and to set a writing goal for the session. At the end of the session, participants discuss what was achieved and, if needed, set writing goals for the week.
Meetings can be held in person (likely at the Honors, Scholars, and Fellows House) or online via Zoom.
Writing Accountability Groups are formed at the beginning of each semester. Please note that the groups may be at capacity. If that happens, we will update the survey to reflect that you will be waitlisted.
