Graduate Student Resource Center
Houses all resources available to FSU graduate students on its website; provides Travel Grants to doctoral candidates; and facilitates workshops on professional and academic development.
Center for the Advancement of Teaching
Hosts online workshops; additionally, you may request a one-on-one consultation with the CAT staff via Zoom to review your Teaching Philosophy Statement or talk about a teaching issue you’re facing.
University Libraries
Work with a Subject Librarian on a literature review, data visualization, or reference list. Get access to journal articles, books, magazines, and more through your FSU ID. Find resources for citation, dissertation writing, and more.
Career Center
Offers career advising, document review, or a mock interview. Additionally, online career-planning services such as Beyond Graduate School and Beyond the Professoriate are available on the Career Center’s website.
The Academic Center for Excellence (ACE)
Provides tutoring sessions, personal academic consultations, and workshops – all available via Zoom.
Reading-Writing Center and the Digital Studio
Assists students with their writing and digital projects; consultants are available to meet via Zoom.
English for Academic Purposes
Offers online workshops and language consultations to students whose first language is not English.

Graduate Skills Workshops

Congress of Graduate Students Travel Grants
COGS is the official representative body of graduate students at FSU, and it offers travel grants for graduate students to present or attend research conferences.

Provides resources on finance-related topics and facilitates financial literacy workshops.

Helps students learn about different types of aid available, apply for it, and calculate attendance costs.
