The Graduate School

Assists in academic matters, including University-wide degree requirements and Manuscript Clearance.

Graduate Student Resource Center

Houses all resources available to FSU graduate students on its website; provides Travel Grants to doctoral candidates; and facilitates workshops on professional and academic development.

Center for the Advancement of Teaching

Hosts the Teaching Development Program and online workshops; additionally, you may request a one-on-one consultation with the CAT staff via Zoom to review your Teaching Philosophy Statement or talk about a teaching issue you’re facing.

University Libraries

Work with a Subject Librarian on a literature review, data visualization, or reference list. Get access to journal articles, books, magazines, and more through your FSU ID. Find resources for citation, dissertation writing, and more.

Career Center

Offers career advising, document review, and mock interviews. Additionally, online career-planning services such as Beyond Graduate School and Beyond the Professoriate are available on the Career Center’s website.

The Academic Center for Excellence (ACE)

Provides tutoring sessions, personal academic consultations, and workshops – all available via Zoom.

Reading-Writing Center and the Digital Studio

Assists students with their writing and digital projects; consultants are available to meet via Zoom.

English for Academic Purposes

Offers online workshops and language consultations to students whose first language is not English.

Graduate Skills Workshops

To support graduate student research and success, the University Libraries offer a series of workshops on Literature Review, Citation Management, and Data Visualization & Analysis. Many sessions are held online.

Funding and Financial Assistance

Unconquered by Debt

Provides resources on finance-related topics and facilitates financial literacy workshops.

Office of Financial Aid

Helps students learn about different types of aid available, apply for it, and calculate attendance costs.

Office of Graduate Fellowships & Awards

Assists FSU graduate students in identifying their interests and applying for external fellowships, scholarships, grants, and awards; facilitates virtual workshops and one-on-one consultations.

Congress of Graduate Students Travel Grants

COGS is the official representative body of graduate students at FSU, and it offers travel grants for graduate students to present or attend research conferences.

Health and Well-Being

University Student Ombuds Office

Helps resolve University policy-related matters by offering confidential consultations.

Department of Student Support & Transitions

Houses Case Management Services, Investigations & Assessment, Office of Accessibility Services, Victim Advocate Program, and Withdrawal Services.

Counseling & Psychological Services

Offers online counseling sessions and workshops for students facing emotional and psychological difficulties. Several self-help resources, including TalkCampus, are available remotely, for free.

Center for Health Advocacy & Wellness

Houses resources and provides workshops and consultations on topics related to nutrition, relationships, sexual health, personal wellness, and high-risk behaviors.

Institute for Trauma and Resilience Studies: FSU Student Resilience Project

This course, along with the Student Resilience Toolkit, helps graduate students explore simple, meaningful ways to care for themselves mentally, emotionally, and physically.

Supports and provides resources for FSU students who are veterans, veteran dependents, active-duty personnel, Reserve and National Guard members, and ROTC cadets.

Digital Design Studio

This space is dedicated to helping students work on their creative ideas. Digital Design Studio has multiple PCs with various software, 3D Printers, interactive drawing tables, a large-format laminator, and more.

FSU Panama City and Gulf Coast State College have partnered and identified resources and opportunities for students to share across campuses and across the street.

Meditation Room

A quiet meditation room is available to any member of the Florida State Panama City Beach campus community who seeks a place to reflect, pray, or meditate.

Parenting and Family

Lactation Room

A private lactation room is available on the Panama City Beach campus for nursing mothers. Please keep in mind that room use is on a first-come, first-served basis. There is no refrigerator in the room.

Seminole Landing at FSU PC

Located along the bay, Seminole Landing is an on-campus apartment community exclusively for full-time undergraduate and graduate students at FSU Panama City.
